Lady Cultura was born on the 4th of July in Miami, Florida to New York-Cuban parents. She moved from Miami to Los Angles in 1999.
In 2010 Cultura traveled throughout South East Asia choreographing and acting in NYU students films. In that same year is where she began her music career which is a mixture of Reggaeton, House, and Vogue elements.
Cultura has been dancing since the age of 13 in Hip Hop, Locking, Popping, Ballet, Modern, Tap, Swing, Jazz, and African. In 2012 she began training under Kumari Suraj in Waacking and House. It was then that she also came to love the freestyle culture. Since then she has competed in several battles across the globe. She won Hip Hop International in Thailand alongside Kumari in the All Styles category.
In 2012 Cultura wrote, directed, and starred in, BIGOTE which was loosely based off of her life growing up as a lesbian with a Catholic mother. Her cast included, Eva Tamargo (NBC), Chelsea Tavares (Nickelodeon, ABC), Raven Goodwin (MTV, Disney Channel), and Kumari Suraj (SYTYCD).
In 2013 she picked up videography as a side hobby where she shot and edited several videos for choreographers and dancers such as, Hollywood, Dalphe Moranus (Mr. International), Lashaun Price, Kumari Suraj, and several more.
Since January 2014 she has toured teaching dance in China, Hong Kong, London, Scotland, and Spain. She currently lives in Los Angeles pursuing all of her trades: music, dance, theatre, and film/tv.
